MEET THE TEAM
BSc, MScPT, FCAMPT
In 2013 I graduated from the University of Toronto Clinical Masters in Physical Therapy Program. The deep study of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics was a great complement to the kinesthetic education I had received playing high level soccer. more
Denisha obtained a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in 2007 from the University of Manitoba. Her first position was assisting in a return-to-work rehabilitation program in a private clinic. more
Ivana joined Thrive Physio as a registered massage therapist in 2019.
She values a holistic approach and is very passionate about helping people on their healing journey. she is well versed in Swedish Massage, Deep tissue, myofascial cupping, and pre and post natal massage.
Shams joined Thrive Physio in late 2020 as a clinic administrator. She has several years of experience in customer service with a focus in the medical and health industry.
When not booking patients and direct billing; Shams can be found working on engaging social media posts, reading non-fiction books, baking lemon cake, and collecting anything with the colour yellow.
Katie obtained a Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2021 from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland.
Katie has a professional history of Physiotherapy Assistance and Recreational Therapy for the elderly. Katie pursued her degree in Scotland, further challenging herself and taking advantage of the opportunity to train internationally. more
Mariam received her bachelor’s of physiotherapy from Cairo university in Egypt in 2006.
While she was there she worked as a physiotherapist in hospitals, private clinics, and orthopedic and neuro-rehabilitation centers where she treated in-patients and outpatients with various medical conditions. Mariam moved to Canada in 2012 and became registered physiotherapist committed to ongoing clinical education. more
