Marcelle Fujimaki

I completed my degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Joao Pessoa in Brazil in 2004. Afterwards, I worked mainly in private clinics with a variety of clients and an emphasis on musculoskeletal conditions. In 2007 I moved to Canada and after learning English I began working as a physiotherapy assistant in a very busy private clinic, where I worked for 5 years. As life moves on, I had two beautiful children, and decided to focus on home life for a few years. Now that they are older and in school, I pursued my dreams to practice physiotherapy in Canada and recently I completed my Canadian certification. I am very passionate about sharing my experience and knowledge with my patients. I believe we can help our community by empowering them to achieve their best performance through life, in the setting that matters to them, fulfilling important life roles, and returning to a variety of meaningful activities.

We were made to move. Movement is paramount to our health and quality of life. My passion for movement, health and physical therapy began with my own personal experiences with injury and movement dysfunction. Having played competitive soccer for most of my life, I experienced a number of different injuries throughout my career. Now after 10 years of clinical practice I’ve put together a unique approach to wellness drawing on a wide range of clinical tools and hands on techniques to stimulate healing and also encourage an active therapeutic approach based on movement re-education and balance.
