Alysha completed her Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto before moving overseas to obtain her Masters in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Prior to moving abroad, Alysha worked as a physiotherapist assistant in a private clinic for 4 years and volunteered in various rehab settings. This established a solid foundation for her passion and knowledge in the field. As a student physiotherapist, Alysha gained experience with musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric patients. Since graduating from her Masters, she has obtained her license as a Resident Physiotherapist. She uses a holistic and hands-on approach to physiotherapy, gaining skills in manual therapy that when combined with education and personalized exercises get great results when treating musculoskeletal conditions.
In her spare time, she enjoys weight lifting and running at the gym, playing with her dog Scooby, and exploring the food scene with friends.
She looks forward to getting to know you and guide you on the path to feeling and moving better!
